About VICSM



Origins and Invitation



Established in 2002, VICS Mining Pty Limited (formally called Indochina International Development and Investment Pty Ltd) subsequently encouraged by an official Invitation from Cambodia's Acting Head of State to create an ASX-style Mining Board.


This initiative was designed to connect Australian mining expertise, capital, and technology with the untapped potential of Cambodia's mineral and energy resources. This crucial move was envisioned to launch a new era of sustainable development for the nation's mining industries.

Expanded activities across Southeast Asia included Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Thailand, operating at the intersection of energy, minerals, and infrastructure. This helps us connect different fields to create complete and effective solutions for development in the Mekong region.

Flagship Projects



Mondulkiri Bauxite Mining (Cambodia)



A large-scale mining operation focused on the sustainable extraction of bauxite from a 996-square-mile tenement. The project is committed to generating local employment and establishing value-added processing facilities to maximize economic benefits for Cambodia.



Binh Phuoc Bauxite Mining (Vietnam)



A strategic collaboration with Australian bauxite specialists. This project focuses on creating synergies in processing and cross-border logistics services.



Australia-Vietnam Energy Corridor



An initiative to develop an integrated energy corridor, combining coal, LNG, and renewable resources with supporting infrastructure. The goal is to establish a secure, diversified, and resilient energy supply chain between Australia and Vietnam.​



PT Black Diamond long term coal supply for Indonesia - Vietnam (rice) barter agreement



Strategic involvement in a long-term coal supply agreement between Indonesia and Vietnam. Concurrently, developing resource and reserve strategies for major Australian coal assets to ensure a stable supply for Vietnam's energy sector.
